Since the 1970s, Cocconato has always been a popular destination for tourists, mainly coming from large cities like Turin and Milan, attracted by the beauty of the village, its culinary excellence, and its restaurants. Since 2004, Cocconato has been awarded the “Orange Flag,” a quality tourist-environmental mark, for its historical, cultural, and environmental heritage, as well as for the great sense of hospitality towards tourists, many of whom return to our area feeling at home. In 2019, due to its strong historical and architectural significance and its excellent quality of life, our town became part of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.”
Many events take place in Cocconato from April to December, moments dedicated to tradition, history, food and wine, art, and outdoor activities. The accommodation facilities offer hospitality and proposals for all tastes, where the main actors are our members of the Consorzio Cocconato – Riviera del Monferrato, who, thanks to their products, offer visitors unique experiences that leave a beautiful memory and the desire to return to these wonderful hills.
