The hills of Cocconato offer remarkable biodiversity, stretching across vineyards, woods, and meadows. Numerous trails can be explored on foot — whether for a pleasant walk or a more athletic hike — as well as by mountain bike or e-bike, with marked and signposted paths and the option to rent electric bicycles. Another way to experience the area is on horseback, following trails that feel like they lead into enchanted places.
Alternatively, we offer routes that take you right into the heart of our local food and wine producers. You’ll be welcomed warmly by the owners, with opportunities for tastings and to purchase the artisanal food and wine products made by our consortium members.
In the village and surrounding area, you can enjoy the delicious offerings of local farm-to-table restaurants. Begin your walk at the tourist office and stroll through the historic center, making your way up to the highest point of the village — where you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view. At sunset, you may even catch a glimpse of Monviso and the Alpine range on the horizon.
