Apicoltura Vallera, founded in 2001 by Davide Bosio in Cunico, among the rolling hills of Monferrato, is a farm dedicated to beekeeping and the production of organic honey.
Our artisanal techniques are carried out with the goal of offering a pure and, above all, delicious product, while respecting the natural life cycle of bees. The honey is not pasteurized, thus preserving all its organoleptic properties.

What drove me
was the desire to return

to ancient gestures, to the purity of honey. I was guided by the strength and intelligence of the bees—beings that certainly need care, but who often led me with their innate wisdom. I strive to offer a honey that tells this story through its aroma and flavor, adopting highly sustainable production methods and organic farming practices that honor the land.

Our honey
is born

from the nectar of a variety of flowers, gathered and processed by bees raised in vertical hives with movable frames. The honeycombs, free of brood and pollen, are collected, transported to the lab, and uncapped. The honey is extracted using centrifugal honey extractors, then purified through filtration. It is left to rest for a few days so that the air trapped during centrifugation can escape—then it is ready to be packaged.

A highly
sustainable production
means respect
for the land

Our
honeys

High mountain wildflower and rhododendron honeys are part of the Slow Food Presidium for Alpine High Mountain Honeys.
The Presidiums are Slow Food projects that protect small-scale, high-quality productions to be preserved, made according to traditional practices.

We offer a classic, timeless line of glass jars, and a lightweight, shatterproof line of food-grade PET jars.

  • Our 100g “Degustini” are ideal for those who want to sample various types of honey or give a healthy and useful gift. They can be purchased individually or in gift boxes of 2 or 4 jars.
  • Our “ovetti” are soft squeeze bottles (385g) made from HDPE—practical for home, travel, and sports use. The cap includes a no-drip valve that solves the issue of sticky honey spills.

At home, the bottle can be reused many times—just unscrew the cap and refill.
