Slide VOLUME

Apicoltura Beeo is a family business like many others. Our passion for bees comes from the awareness that, in their small way, they can give us so much. If you ever have the chance to peek into this world, you will surely be amazed and seek lessons that accompany everyday life. It may be a coincidence, but bees live a frantic life, perhaps even more so than ours.

The fruit
of our work

is only a small part of the true result. Our true task, which we consider a duty, is to deeply respect the nature of bees through our actions and to use all our knowledge to ensure their natural survival. After 40 years of experience, it’s safe to say: we never stop learning, today more than ever. The climate and the choices of our society promote change, while mankind’s tendency to rely on a technique that bears fruit constantly presents us with new challenges.

The never trivial
observation

of the life of these remarkable insects and their nature stimulates our professional growth and creativity. For us, opening a hive is like unwrapping a gift from nature, and whether we do it at the first light of dawn or in the dark of night, we are always ready to be surprised!

Doing well,
doing organic,
is sustainable
even today,
especially today.

We consider
the laboratory

to be one of the most important places in our company. It’s where everything the bees give us, beyond their basic needs, comes together. Our goal is to make those who buy our hive products understand that there are many ways to treat food, just as in our homes, where quantity has never been a priority!

For years, we’ve been doing everything we can to

trasmit
our passion to the realities around us.

That’s why we welcome local schools to spend days with us, learning many things, especially from the curiosity of the little ones!

Nomadism

Today more than ever in Piedmont, due to the rapid changes in climatic conditions, nomadism can offer solutions to those who, like us, want to make quality honey. This choice requires significant effort from the beekeeper but also brings satisfaction.

The beekeepers
of the future

“Our passion for bees comes from the awareness that, in their small way, they can give us so much.”

Bees,
environmental sentinels

The environmental biomonitoring activity aims to demonstrate that a company attentive to the environment is an added value to the territory, using an innovative tool like bees, who speak a language anyone can understand.

In recent years, bee monitoring has gained significant importance due to its “management simplicity,” its higher effectiveness compared to other methods, and its intrinsic “communicative ability” with the public.

The peculiarity of bees lies in the fact that they are an excellent biological indicator, allowing us to uncover the health status of the surrounding environment (within a few kilometers around the monitoring station, known as the apiary).

This is possible by monitoring and detecting various indicators: any unconventional mortality, the well-being of the bees, and specific analyses of the matrices (honey, pollen, bee bread, wax, etc.) selected through a validated protocol.
